Policy makers finally hear message on party pill animal testing
6 May 14
The Prime Minister on May 4 said his Government wouldn't allow psychoactive substances (party pills) to be tested on animals.
The "firm no" to using animals for these tests was given in a HorizonPoll nationwide survey in April 2013.
The lawmakers could have listened more carefully then?
The door was open at that time for the use of guidelines, although a ban was the option most supported.
Those wanting to save animals from experiments have now enjoyed a rare complete victory.
The April 2013 results are here and make interesting reading in high sight.
